Our Story: The Revolution of Simplicity
At Simplify Further, we believe that to simplify isn’t to minimize—it’s to maximize. It’s about intentionally directing our time, energy, and resources toward the things that truly matter. Through this maximization, we’ve created lives that are rich in experience, connection, and freedom—and we want to help you do the same.
What’s our story?
We are a small family from a small town with a big dream. A dream of freedom, of time well-spent, and of a life that feels intentional and full, not just busy and overwhelmed. Our journey began in a tiny home—a small, humble space that defied convention and gave us the clarity to see what truly mattered.
Before we made the leap to living in our tiny home, we were like most people—caught in the cycle of more, always craving bigger, better, faster. But something shifted when we moved into a tiny home. We experienced a deep transformation—not just in our space, but in how we lived our lives.
After six months in the tiny house, we transitioned to a traditional home to accommodate our growing family. When friends would visit, they’d comment, “Wow, your house is so minimalist. I love it!” And while the sentiment was nice, the truth was different. We didn’t have less because we wanted less—we had less because we were intentional.
Every item in our home was there because it added beauty or function—or both. We didn’t settle for cheap, temporary solutions. We waited, we searched, and we invested in pieces we truly loved. This mindset of intentional maximalism—choosing quality over quantity—transformed our living space into something that felt like a reflection of our values, not just a place to put things.
We’re not minimalists. We’re visionaries who believe that the things we own should serve a higher purpose—bringing us joy, beauty, and freedom, while empowering us to focus on what matters most.
Our dream was simple, yet bold: to create a business that would allow us to maximize our time and resources. To work smarter, not harder. To spend more time with the people we love, and still have the ability to afford the luxuries that add meaning to our lives.
This desire led us back to our roots—back to the very thing that started it all: the tiny home. At first, we didn’t know where this would take us. But we built a tiny home in our driveway, with the goal of simplifying our lives, breaking free from the daily grind, and finding a way out of the cycle of living paycheck to paycheck.
The journey took an unexpected turn when we stumbled into the world of short-term rentals. Once our tiny home was built, we asked ourselves, “What now?” Maybe we’d sell it, or partner with investors to build more homes, or simply keep it as a guest house. But instead, we listed it on Airbnb, just to see what would happen.
And then something incredible occurred: People from all over the country began to book stays. Our tiny home wasn’t just a small place to sleep—it was a destination. A place where people came to reconnect with nature, with themselves, and with a new kind of freedom.
That moment, that small spark, ignited a chain of events that led to something much bigger than we could have imagined. We realized that our tiny home was more than just a simple structure—it was a powerful symbol of liberation, authenticity, and transformation.
Today, our mission has grown beyond building tiny homes. We want to show others that their boldest dreams—dreams that seem too risky or too out of reach—can become their reality. We want to help you discover how living in a tiny home or traveling in one can open up a world of freedom, options, and fulfillment.
Tiny homes aren’t just a trend—they’re a movement. A movement that redefines the American Dream. Gone are the days of “Go big, or go home.” The new era is one of Simple Living, High Thinking. It’s about having the courage to break free from society’s constraints and reclaim your time, your energy, and your life.
This is a revolution. A revolution to free your life from the clutter and the chaos—to focus on what really matters.
This is your invitation. It’s time to Simplify Further.
